Jeffrey graduate from Alaska Pacific University with his Bachelors of Arts in Outdoor Studies with a Minor
in Counseling Psychology and concentration in snow science. When he was 15 years old, he was
introduced to the outdoors as a form of therapy. Growing up in Long Beach California, snowboarding became his first hobby that turned him away from inner city life and towards the mountains. Ever since that first day snowboarding, he developed an admiration for the feeling of peace and belonging that being in the mountains brought. When he turned 18, he decided to move to Alaska to pursue
a career in the outdoor industry and the mountains that surround this beautiful place. As a student at Alaska Pacific University, along with developing skills necessary to an outdoor professional he also had interest in childcare and psychology; which led him into becoming a kindergarten teacher right after graduation; and now working here at Onward & Upward!
